The conference will take place in the lecture hall of the University, located in Via Allegri. The University is inside the city walls, in the old city centre. It is around 20 minutes walk from the train station. You can look for your way by the local transport website here. From the train station, you can use the bus number 1, 4 or 9

How to reach Reggio Emilia:

By car

From the A1 motorway - Exit 'Reggio Emilia'

From the toll booth, turn right; at the first roundabout, take the first exit on the right, at the second roundabout, third exit (direction 'city center'), at the fourth roundabout go straight, at the traffic light go straight toward the 'Zucchi parking'.

Via Allegri is located at the beginning of the historical city center, near Piazza della Vittoria, in a restricted traffic area; So, we suggest to park the car in the Zucchi Parking (a pay and display parking) or in the neighbouring streets. For a free parking you can use the 'Foro Boario' parking in Fratelli Manfredi street (500 metres far from the University) and then use the free shuttle bus to the city center.

By plane

The closest airport is 'Marconi' Airport of Bologna. The main carriers to reach Bologna from abroad are Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Iberia, Lufthansa, Alitalia. Bologna is also a destination for some low fares airlines, for example Ryanair and Easyjet. The airport is connected to Bologna by bus and taxi. Then, from the train station 'Bologna Centrale' a train will bring you to Reggio Emilia in around 40 minutes.

By train

You can reach Reggio Emilia by train from Bologna ('Bologna Centrale' station) in around 40 minutes with regional trains. Trains arrive also from Milan and Florence.

Four kilometres north from Reggio Emilia there is also an High-Speed Railway Station ('Mediopadana station'). From this station you can reach the following cities:
